Tipperary, Kilkenny & Waterford - Circuit Court - Notice re Remote County Registrar Sittings - May 2021
Tuesday 27th April 2021
Dear Colleagues
I hope you are all safe and well. In an effort to keep the Circuit Court business flowing in Tipperary, Kilkenny and Wexford, and to ensure optimum use of valuable court staff time, please note the following measures which will be in place from 1st May 2021.
- From 1st May 2021, the information for accessing the virtual sitting of the County Registrar's civil and family law motions, civil and family law case progressions and civil and family law callovers, will be published in the legal diary section of the courts.ie website at the top of each of the motion/case progression/callover lists. I will continue to share the access information with each county bar association and with the law society and bar council via email. Emails to the court offices seeking the Pexip info will not be replied to as the information will have been circulated to the bar association and published on the website.
- All motions/applications for the County Registrar's motion lists MUST be lodged at least FOUR clear days before the date of the hearing of the motion list, otherwise the motion will be listed for hearing on the subsequent motion date.
- Parties are reminded that where the parties to a motion/case progression have agreed terms or have agreed to an adjournment, details of same can be sent to me via email NO LATER THAN 4.00pm on the day preceding the sitting of the relevant court and I will make the necessary order. Any emails received after 4.00pm on the day preceding the court date WILL NOT be read.
I want to thank you for your continued cooperation and support in these unusual times. As always, if any practitioners have any queries, please email me at jamesseymour@courts.ie
Yours faithfully
James Seymour
County Registrar & Sheriff for Tipperary, Kilkenny & Wexford
